Judith Shields serves as Team Lead of the Ciment & Shields Team at Perennial Real Estate, helping buyers and sellers throughout the Washington metropolitan area navigate the real estate process with organization, professionalism, and exceptional client service.
Working closely with Barbara Ciment and the rest of the Ciment & Shields Team, Judith helps coordinate every stage of a transaction, ensuring clients receive timely communication and thoughtful guidance from the initial consultation through closing. Her ability to manage details while keeping clients informed allows buyers and sellers to move forward with greater confidence.
Judith takes a collaborative approach to real estate, working closely with interior designers, contractors, home inspectors, appraisers, mortgage professionals, settlement attorneys, and fellow real estate agents to help clients make informed decisions throughout the buying and selling process. She also oversees many of the behind-the-scenes details, including marketing coordination, home staging, property showings, and ongoing client communication.
Known for her integrity, strong work ethic, and commitment to ethical service, Judith brings years of leadership, sales, and management experience to every client relationship. She believes successful real estate transactions are built on trust, responsiveness, careful planning, and clear communication.
Before entering real estate, Judith built a diverse professional career as a licensed Occupational Therapist, working with patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. She also founded, co-owned, and managed a high-end gift boutique. These experiences strengthened her communication, problem-solving, organizational, and client service skills, all of which continue to benefit the buyers and sellers she serves today.
